COVERCRETE is a Cementitious Screed that can adhere to a variety of surfaces.

It can be used as floor, wall, ceiling or table top finishes. COVERCRETE is made up of a liquid base mixed with either grey or white cement. There are a variety of colour options to choose from as well as custom created colours if required.

COVERCRETE can be installed directly over tiles following our installation guideline. It can be installed over a Self-Level Screed Floor or Rhinolite plastered walls.

Our product is made to order in our factory.

General Installation Costs

Installation over self-level screed or smooth surface is between *R405 – R475 ex Vat p/m2.
Installation over a tile is between *R510 – R588 ex Vat p/m2.
*Region Dependant.

Project call out fee is R550 ex Vat per day. (Gauteng & George/Mossel Bay)
Projects can range between 3-15 days depending on project size.

General Information

Pricing is based on the type of surface to be covered.

It costs more p/m² to cover tiles with COVERCRETE than covering a smooth surface like a smooth plastered wall, ceiling or a self-level screed floor

There are 3x Polyurethane sealer options for the floor, All are UV stable:
All PU(Polyurethane) is applied as a 2x coat system. 

  1. Light/Residential : Finish is Matt, Sheen or Gloss. Suitable for showers. 
  2. Medium Duty : Finish is only High Sheen. Suitable for garage floors.
  3. Heavy Duty : Finish is Matt or Glass. Suitable for garage floors, showers and swimming pools.

Walls have 3x Finish options: 

  1. No Sealer(raw & sanded). This gives a matt/flat look and “powdery” feel. For low traffic areas.
  2. 2x coats Colour Sealer. For general areas that would need to be wipe-able and water resistant. Sheen finish only & creates a mottled effect. 
  3. 2x coats PU sealer. For high traffic areas, used in showers and outdoors. Matt, Sheen & Gloss finish.

Minimum charge:

  • 30m2 over Smooth Surface: Self Level Screed, Rhinolite, Smooth Plaster.
  • 45m² over Tiles.

Additional Info: 

Call Out fee: R550.00 excl VAT per day of the project (Gauteng & George/Mossel Bay)

Depending on the size of the project it can take at least 3 days and may take up to 15 – 20 days per project.

Costs can only be confirmed on final inspection prior to installation. There may be additional work required – ie removal of tiles or carpets. Installation of Self-Level Screed or Wall Skimming.
A site visit is essential to assess exactly what is needed to be covered and if any extensive prep work is required.

Kit Pricing

Coverage per kit is dependant on the type of surface and texture thereof.
The below coverage is an estimate for 2 coats per kit.
Small kit: 5-12 m2 R1060.00*
Med kit: 12-20 m2 R2080.00*
Large kit: 20-40 m2 R3625.00*
Coverage over tiles: The large kit covers between 10-15m² depending on the tile.

Kits include:
Liquid-base, Cement, and Colour Sealer (sheen only).

Optional Sealers:
5lt 2Pack Polyurethane Sealer R1380.00* covers 20 m2 per 2x Coats(Residential use).
Comes in Matt, Sheen & Gloss.
UV stable, can be used outdoors and in showers.
add’s a more durable coating depending on your needs.
Non-Slip Additive to be used on surfaces prone to excessive water: R150.00* per 1kg (500g per 1x 5lt Sealer)

Shipping for 1x Large Kit is R850.00* for outside Gauteng.
If more Kits are required, shipping will be quoted accordingly.
